DeCruz or however you spell Lightning Legs’s real name clocked 16 minutes and 40 seconds… for the 5000m heats. That makes him twice as fast as the average girl. And another $500 richer than the 16minutesand40seconds-Ago-Him. Because he was oneminuteandtwentyseconds quicker than the 17minutesand60seconds nut record holder before him.

(I know because i spent two hours waaaaay after i was dismissed, timing Sports day people. After which i sped home for dinner. But of course, my normalhumanbeingpace meant i only reached home at EIGHT for dinner anyway. And so…the point is. I ain’t gonna finish my history essay tonight. Yipeee.)
